Attorney Deferral Program

We've heard from a number of law firm associates interested in working for transgender equal rights while they participate in their law firms' deferral programs.  We want you to know that we're as enthusiastic about making room for you as you've been about working with us for equal rights.  While requirements for participating in deferral programs vary by firm, in an effort to make the process of filling these positions as straightforward as possible, we thought we'd provide you with the following information.  If you have any questions, please contact us.

Please note that we have already filled one deferral position for 2010 - '11.  If you are interested in working with us during your deferral year, we suggest that you contact us soon.  Our ability to successfully accommodate deferred associates is limited by our resources.  That said, thank you for considering spending your deferral year with us.  We're committed to providing you with the experience and skills you need to succeed when you return to your firm to continue your private practice career.
