March with TLDEF at Pride!

Forty years ago, a series of spontaneous, violent demonstrations against a police raid of Greenwich Village's Stonewall Inn kicked off the modern-day movement for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equal rights. On Sunday, June 28, 2009, join Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund as we march in New York City's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Pride March to celebrate the tremendous advances we've made and renew our commitment to working for equal rights.

As serious a commemoration as it is, the day promises to be a lot of fun, too! We're giving away free TLDEF T-shirts to the first 100 people who register and march with us, so sign up now!

We'll provide more detailed information about our meeting point and the march route as the big day draws near.

See you in June!

P.S. You don't need to register to march, but registering will help us to communicate with you directly about our meeting place and time, and it will ensure that we have a t-shirt for you!
